NRI Vemuru Ravi appointed as AP government's advisor

Hyderabad, Sep 04: Dr Vemuru Ravi, noted non-resident Indian (NRI), was appointed as advisor to government of Andhra Pradesh. Vemuru Ravi will be advising the government regarding the welfare of NRI Telugu people living across the world. He would help the the government to improve relations with the Telugu people living abroad. Ravi would also make efforts to attract investment into the state. He will encourage Telugu NRIs to adopt villages and wards under 'Smart Village' programme.
