No special status even if Chandrababu resigns: JC

Hyderabad, Sep 01: TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy has stoked a controversy by stating that Centre would not accord special status to the State even if Chief Minister N Chandrbabu Naidu resigns. He was speaking with the media on the premises of Assembly here. JC exuded confidence that Centre would accord better financial package to AP than that sanctioned to Bihar. He said that Jagan was keen to acquire Chief Minister's post. He said that the party MPs would submit resignations if Jagan and others parties gives an assurance on special status. He observed that Chandrababu was not ambitious. He made it clear that Centre would not accord special status to the state
