Cash-for-vote row creates ruckus in AP Assembly
Hyderabad, Sep 01: The Andhra Pradesh Assembly today witnessed noisy scenes after Leader of Opposition YS Jaganmohan Reddy raised Cash-for-vote case in which Telangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy and others were arrested and released on bail. During debate on special status issue, Leader of Opposition YS Jaganmohan Reddy raised the issue. He said that ACB mentioned Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's name 22 times in the case charge sheet. Chandrababu's voice samples are sent to forensic lab in connection with cash-for-vote and that is the reason he is not exerting pressure on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the issue, Jagan said. TDP and BJP members strongly objected to Jagan's remarks. They raised the cases registered against Jagan. YSRCP condemned comments on their supremo and stormed the Speaker's podium
