Taj Mahal chandelier crashes
Agra, August 22: A big chandelier at the main entrance of Taj Mahal crashed down on Wednesday.
The 6x4 feet chandelier, weighing 60 kg belongs to British age. Lord Curzon gifted this chandelier, which was installed at Royal Gate of Taj Mahal in 1905.
Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) Superintending Archaeologist Bhuvan Vikram was told to probe into the matter. There was no official confirmation about the fall of the chandelier, but the sources says aging and wear and tear might be the reasons.
No one was injured in the incident.
