Report over twin-suicides within three days

Kadapa, August 20: The inquiry of the three-member committee over the twin-suicides in Kadapa Narayana college hostel concluded by today afternoon. Committee member and Padmavathi Mahila University Registrar Vijaya Lakshmi said that they will hold an impartial inquiry and will submit a report to the State government within three days. She said the roommates of the deceased students will also be grilled over the incident. Two intermediate first year girl students of Narayana Residential Junior College at CK Dinne near Kadapa committed suicide by hanging themselves on Monday. AP Minister for Human Resources Development Ganta Srinivas Rao set up a tri-member committee to probe this incident. The committee includes Manikyam, Controller of Examinations, Board of Intermediate Education AP; Vijayalakshmi, Registrar, Padmavathi Mahila University; and Kadapa District Revenue Officer S Sulochana.
