Chandrababu lays stone for Handri Neeva canal works
Hyderabad, Aug 19: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today laid foundation stone for Handri Neeva canal and national highway works at Kuppam in Chittoor district. Chandrababu said that Neeru-Chettu programme was launched to improve groundwater levels and urged the farmers to utilise the scheme. He interacted with the horticulture farmers to know their problems. The CM said that government would extend all possible help to horticulture farmers. Forest Minister Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy, MLAs Sugunamma, Satya Prabha, former MLC Lalitha Kumar, MLC Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu and others were present.
