Rajinikanth to play mafia don
Hyderabad, August 16: Superstar Rajinikanth will appear in a negative role in his next movie, reportedly titled 'Kabali'. The story was said to be based on the real life of a Chennai mafia don. This is his 159th movie.
According to sources, Rajinikanth will play the character, called Kabaleeshwaran, from which the title was derived. The story was based on a don from Mylapore in Chennai.
The shooting of the movie will commence from September 17 and directed by Pa. Ranjith. The first few minutes of the movie will be set in Mylapore and the story will shift to Malaysia.
The movie also casts Radhika Apte, Dhansikaa and Kalaiarasan. Music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
Heroine Radhika Apte said that she has a powerful and challenging character in the movie.
