Fish rain in Guntur
Guntur/Hyderabad, August 16: It is raining fish in Guntur. Heavy rains on Saturday night brought fish in Uyyurivaipalem of Nagaram mandal in Guntur district. Farmers were surprised to see fish in the fields. They competed to catch fish in farms. Each fish weighed about 2.5 kg. According to scientists, there is a sea near the village. The heavy tornadoes and water spouts might have picked up the fish from the sea and the rain released them which fall on land. Recently fish rain took place in Gollamudi in Krishna district.
