Good news for Agri Gold depositors
Vijayawada, Aug 11: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed the officials to take steps to repay the deposits of Agri Gold depositors within two to three months. A committee headed by auditor K Narasimha Murthy was constituted to probe the scam. The committee met the CM at Vijayawada today. The members informed that Agri Gold has properties worth over Rs 7,000 crore and it should pay depositors Rs 6,800 crore. The CM asked the depositors not to worry. He said that government was committed to ensure repayment of depositors. Of the 32 lakh depositors of the company, 19 lakh are in AP.
