SC nod for repairs to Ayodhya Ram Lalla temple
New Delhi/Hyderabad, August 10: The Supreme Court on Monday gave permission for conducting repairs to the controversial Ram Lalla, a temple in Ayodhya. The court gave permission for making repairs to the temple roof and also for providing other facilities. The works should be monitored by Faizabad Collector and two independent observers. The court had asked the Centre in March to consider providing facilities to the devotees at Ram Janam Bhoomi site, near the disputed structure at Ayodhya. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy filed a petition in the court seeking facilities to the pilgrims. He mentioned in his petition that there is no drinking water facility and no toilets causing serious inconvenience to the pilgrims.
