Jagan deeksha for special status to AP takes off

New Delhi/Hyderabad, August 10: YSR Congress Party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy started the protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi today. He started the deeksha demanding special status category to Andhra Pradesh State. The dharna would continue till 3 pm. Later, the party would take out a march to the Parliament. Raising the slogan 'Special status is AP right', Jaganmohan Reddy criticised the Telugu Desam government of neglecting the special status category to AP. He alleged that both TDP and BJP were neglecting the issue. YS Jagan paid tributes to Congress activist Muni Koti, who committed suicide demanding special status to AP in Tirupati. NRI YSRCP also supported Jagan's protest. Party activists and leaders went to the capital in two special trains to participate in the dharna.
