Congress stalling special status to AP: Kavuri

Vijayawada, Aug 06: Former Union Minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao has reiterated that BJP was committed to implement provisions of Andhra Pradesh State Reorganisation Act-2014. Speaking to the media here today, Kavuri alleged that Sonia divided the state to make Rahul Gandhi Prime Minister and now shedding crocodile tears over special status. He blamed the Congress party for stalling special status. Congress is instigating other states which are seeking special status. But we are confident that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will resolve the matter, he added. Former Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana flayed TDP for criticising Centre on special status. He came down heavily on Rahul Gandhi and Jagan for their alleged doublespeak over the issue.
