Amit Singh tried to speak with Srilekha's spirit

Hyderabad, July 29: Amit Singh, who was on the run after murdering two sisters on July 14, will be produced in the court today. The Medchal police nabbed him near Medchal on Tuesday morning. Chaitanyapuri police registered cases under IPC 452 and 302 against him. According to police, Amit Singh killed Srilekha for rejecting his love and also killed her sister, Yamini Saraswati, who tried to stop him in their house at Hyderabad on July 14. Amit informed his father about the twin murders and switched off the mobile. He went to Ajmer Dargah and sought a baba, who reportedly speaks with spirits, to make the spirit of Srilekha to talk with him. But the baba said that her spirit will come after 40 days. He sold his laptop for Rs 12,000. He decided to surrender after knowing that his mother, sisters and brother-in-law were in police custody and returned to Hyderabad. He was afraid of people or police killing him, he hired an ambulance and travelled as a patient. He contacted an advocate on the outskirts of Medchal and police traced the call and nabbed him. Meanwhile, Telangana Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy, Cyberabad CP CV Anand and LB Nagar DCP Taphseer Iqbal met the parents of the sisters, Hymavathi and Krishna Reddy.
