AP Cabinet reshuffle on cards

Hyderabad, July 28: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is likely to reshuffle and expand his Cabinet soon. According to reports, the CM has reportedly initiated an exercise to drop the Ministers who were involved in controversies and those who failed to discharge duties effectively. Sources said that Chandrababu was planning to complete the process by August 15 as he would be busy with finalisation of tenders for construction of capital city in the coming days. The CM was also planning to induct seasoned politicians into the Cabinet to keep in check the opposition YSRCP. It is reliably learnt that Deputy CM KE Krishnamurthy's portfolio will be changed. Peethala Sujatha, Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy, Kimidi Mrinalini and Kollu Ravindra Babu may be dropped from the cabinet. Kimidi Kala Venkat Rao, Payyavula Keshav, Somiredddy Chandramohan Reddy, MA Sharif, Magunta Srinivasula Reddy, Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu, M Geetha, V Anitha, B Satyanarayana Murthy, V Venkateswara Rao, G Butchaiah Chowdary and Midam Srinivasa Rao are likely to be inducted the cabinet. At present the cabinet strength including CM is 20 and it can be expanded to 26.
