TDP MPs protest at Parliament

New Delhi' July 23: Demanding special status to Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam Party MPs staged a protest on the premises of Parliament here on Thursday. The MPs staged a sit-in in front of the Gandhi statue on the premises. They displayed placards and raised slogans seeking special status to AP and implementation assurances given during the bifurcation of the State. They urged all the political parties to support special status to AP. JC Diwakar Reddy, Konakalla Narayana, Thotha Narasimham, Avanti Srinivas, K Rammohan Naidu, Nimmala Kistappa and others were present. Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day as Opposition parties created ruckus over Vyapam scam and other issues.
