Efforts on to secure special status: Sujana

Hyderabad, July 20: Senior TDP leader and Union Minister Sujana Chowdary has said that TDP was putting its best efforts to secure special status to the state. He opined that all the issues should come up for discussion in the monsoon session of Parliament scheduled to be commenced from tomorrow. Sujana said that party would seek amendments to AP State Reorganisation Act to resolve issues between the two Telugu states. Sujana said that TDP has asked the Centre to take up special status matter as top priority during the Parliament session. The State was divided 14 months ago, but many issues between the the two Telugu states were still unresolved. "We will pressurize the Centre to intervene and sort out differences," he added.
