HC: Maintenance to Pratyusha from father’s salary

Hyderabad, July 17: The Hyderabad High Court granted maintenance to Pratyusha from her father’s salary. A three-member division bench today commenced the hearing on the case. The judges said that they would directly speak to the victim and asked the police to bring her to court on Monday if possible. The court spoke to Pratyusha’s paternal uncle Deputy Collector Satish Chandra about details of the family members. The court refused to allow the officials to shift the girl to rescue home and directed them to provide accommodation to the girl where she wants to stay. The court regretted the poor living conditions at rescue homes. The court deplored the neighbours and relatives for not responding to the sad plight of the victim. The police were directed to produce the victim’s maternal uncle Sai Pratap and father in the court on Monday.
