ACB notices to TDP MLA’s car drivers

Hyderabad, July 17: The Anti-corruption Bureau issued notices TDP MLA Vem Narender Reddy’s car drivers under Section 160 of CrPC in connection with Cash-for-vote scam. The ACB officials served notices on the two drivers asking them to appear before the agency for interrogation by Friday. According to reports in Telugu TV channels, the two drivers will attend for questioning. It may be noted that Vem Narender Reddy was the TDP nominee for MLC polls and the party leaders allegedly tried to bribe other party MLAs to ensure the former’s victory. Narender Reddy’s son Krishna Keerthan, who works as a software engineer in Bengaluru, was also grilled by the ACB for two days.
