Jobs for foreign students in Britain now soar grapes

Hyderabad, July 13: The foreign students, who wish to settle in London after studies, will now face a serious setback. Britain Home Secretary Theresa May issued orders directing all the foreign students to leave the country after the completion of their higher studies. About 1.21 lakh students came to Britain for higher studies and out of these only 51,000 returned to their home countries. The remaining 70,000 students got jobs in Britain and settled. Theresa said due to this the local students are facing unemployment problem. Hence, she directed the students to leave the country once their studies are over. She further suggested to the students, who wish to do a job in London, should go to their home countries first and get job visa. People with job visa only are eligible to do jobs in London. This rule will apply to all countries out of European Union. This step was taken mainly to avoid students using colleges and higher studies as a means to get British work visa.
