TS-AG alleges nexus between judges and Naidu
Hyderabad, July 3: "70 % of high court judges and two to three supreme court judges will dance to the tunes of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu," said Ramakrishna Reddy, Telangana Advocate General. The ACB bail petition requesting to cancel the high court bail to TDP MLA Revanth Reddy will come to hearing at Supreme Court on Friday afternoon. In this situation, the Telangana AG interacted with the media over the cash-for-vote case and court proceedings. Ramakrishna Reddy said he was not hoping to get justice at supreme court also as there are Chandrababu Naidu's close associates in the supreme court. Even in high court, about 70 per cent of the judiciary will act to the whims of Naidu, he claimed. The AG further said that the high court had not listened to their arguments properly. The TS-AG said, "Revanth has criminal mentality. We repeatedly asked the court not to grant bail to him until the completion of investigation and a detailed report was submitted." He said that there are chances of tampering evidences and threatening witnesses. But the court gave him bail and the moment he came out of jail, Revanth challenged KCR and his family, the AG said. The AG said that investigation is at a primary stage only since Sattupally MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah is yet to be grilled regarding the case. Ramakrishna Reddy said, "It is a pity that Andhra criminals come to Telangana, commit crimes and take shelter in their State. They enjoy a luxury life also there." "These people either have to surrender voluntarily or respond to our notices so that inquiry will become easy," Ramakrishna Reddy said. When questioned whether the high court judge granted bail to Revanth coming under pressure of Andhra leaders, he responded in a positive way. "That is the reason we requested for a separate high court for Telangana State. Every state needs a separate high court of their own," he observed. "Now we will try to present a strong argument in the supreme court," he said. The Telangana Advocate General felt that under these circumstances the TS government could not protect its properties and lands and also could not do proper inquiry about such crimes and criminals. He said inquiry about the audio tapes, which reportedly have AP CM Naidu's voice, is on.
