Chandrababu Naidu Warns Against Conspiracies Targeting Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday issued a strong warning to the opposition 'Godali Party' (YSRCP) against targeting Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan with malicious propaganda and conspiracies.

Addressing a public meeting at Jonnagiri in Kurnool district, Chandrababu Naidu said the opposition was resorting to baseless criticism and smear campaigns against Pawan Kalyan. “If they continue to speak unnecessarily against him, we have the power to silence them,” he declared. The Chief Minister accused the opposition of spreading venom by linking incidents like the disappearance of Vijayawada’s Sai Krishna to caste politics and peddling lies. He said the party leader was an expert in telling falsehoods and inciting people by giving a caste colour to every event.

Tirumala Laddu Controversy

Chandrababu Naidu also targeted the previous government over the alleged adulteration of Tirumala Laddu prasadam. He claimed the erstwhile ruling party’s trust board used impure ghee, compromising the sanctity of the sacred offering, and that the “heinous acts” were now coming to light.

He alleged that the opposition leader was now visiting temples to hoodwink people after the exposure of their conspiracies. While asserting respect for all religions, Chandrababu warned that any attempt to tarnish the sanctity of temples would not be tolerated.

Strong Attack on Law and Order Issues

The Chief Minister further alleged that the opposition party was indirectly supporting ganja (cannabis) and blade batches (notorious criminal gangs), leading youth astray. He described the party’s vision as one of destruction, with fake propaganda as its only policy.

“From the Babai murder to the recent poster road accident, they only believe in conspiracies. Offering animal sacrifices for posters is their habit. They have no future,” he said.

Chandrababu Naidu also highlighted the achievements of his government, including shifting 10,800 employees from the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) to the Old Pension Scheme (OPS), bringing significant benefits to each employee. He challenged the opposition to explain what they had done for Rayalaseema, particularly regarding water projects and infrastructure.

The Chief Minister said his government would release regular “Progress Reports” to counter opposition propaganda and highlight the damage caused during the previous regime.
