Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram’s First Collaboration Gets a Bloody Fun Kickoff: Anil Ravipudi’s ‘Kattilanti Idea’ Promo Goes Viral

In a fresh and innovative promotional move, the makers of the much-awaited multi-starrer starring Victory Venkatesh and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram have released a witty video titled Kattilanti Idea just a day before the film’s regular shooting begins.

Directed by star filmmaker Anil Ravipudi, the yet-untitled project is being produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner, with Suresh Productions and Zee Studios South as co-producers. The promotional video, shared by Shine Screens, has already caught the attention of netizens for its playful and unique concept.

In the video, director Anil Ravipudi is seen holding a knife and comically complaining, “Do I always have to give ideas?” Victory Venkatesh then playfully “cuts” the director’s hand with the knife and applies the “blood” as a tilak (Vijaya Tilakam) on his forehead. Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh, and Kriti Shetty follow suit, joining the fun. Anil Ravipudi reacts hilariously to the sequence.

Addressing speculation about the film’s Rayalaseema backdrop, the director clarified through the video that it is not a faction drama but a complete family entertainer.

The film’s muhurtham and pooja ceremony was recently held in Hyderabad. Regular shooting is scheduled to commence from June 22. Music is being composed by GV Prakash Kumar, with Keerthy Suresh and Kriti Shetty playing the female lead roles.

Known for his distinctive and engaging promotional strategies, Anil Ravipudi has once again opted for a creative approach to build curiosity around the project. The makers are targeting a grand release for Sankranti 2027.
