Cash-for-vote tapes are not doctored, confirms forensic lab

Hyderabad, June 24: The central forensic science laboratory has confirmed that video and audio tapes in the cash-for-vote case said to be featuring the voices of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and TRS nominated MLA E Stephenson have not been edited or doctored. In this connection, the ACB has filed a special petition in the special court seeking the voice samples of Chandrababu Naidu and all the accused in the case for reconfirming the genuineness of the original tapes. At any time, the court is likely to direct Chandrababu and other accused to submit their voice samples so as to help the lab to arrive at a conclusion on the tapes in the next two days.
