Centre will respond at appropriate time: Dattatreya

Hyderabad, June 21: Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya has said that Centre is closely watching the developments in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states and will respond at appropriate time. He was speaking to the reporters on the sidelines of International Yoga Day celebrations held here. Dattatreya urged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to maintain restraint. If necessary, Centre will interfere to resolve the issues between both the Telugu states, he added. He regretted that cash-for-vote scam and alleged phone-tapping created rift between AP and TS governments and hoped that these things will not recur in future.
