Don’t arrest Mathaiah till June 24: High Court tells ACB

Hyderabad, June 18: The Hyderabad High Court today ordered Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) not to arrest Jerusalem Mathaiah, the fourth accused in cash-for-vote scandal, till June 24. The Hyderabad High Court today heard the quash petition filed by Mathaiah and directed the ACB officials to file a counter. Mathaiah filed the petition stating that he was not associated with the case and also wanted his name to be excluded from the investigation. The court posted the matter to June 24 for the next hearing. It may be noted that Mathaiah went missing after the arrest of Revanth Reddy. A few days later, he filed a case against Telangana CM KCR in Vijayawada.
