IIT results: AP, TS students fare well

Mumbai, June 18: The IIT JEE Advanced 2015 results were declared. In all 1.5 lakh students appeared for the exam. At least 26,456 candidates qualified for admissions into 20 Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) and National Institute of Technologies (NITs). Satvani Jaganani from Satna, Madhya Pradesh secured first rank by scoring 469 out of 504 marks. Janak Aggarwal and Mukesh Pareekh from Indore, MP, secured second and third rank respectively. Kriti Tiwari (AIR 47) from Indore topped girls category. A large number of students from both the Telugu states excelled in the exam and five out of top 10 ranks were bagged by AP and TS students.
