Law will take its own course: KTR

New Delhi, June 18: Telangana Information Technology Minister KTR said that law will take its own course in the cash-for-vote scandal in which TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was arrested. He interacted with reporters after meeting Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu here. KTR said that the whole world knows what happened in the scam. He claimed that law and order situation in Hyderabad is stable and added that people from both the Telugu states are living in peace and harmony. The Minister invited Venkaiah Naidu for a conference on smart cities to be held at Hyderabad in August and requested him to include Siddipet in the Class One cities list. He sought Central assistance for the state government’s flagship double bedroom scheme. He parried questions on enforcement of Section-8 in Hyderabad. Later, KTR met Housing and Urban Development Planning Corporation Limited (HUDCO) chairman Ravikanth and briefed him about the projects being implemented by Telangana government. He requested HUDCO chairman to sanction Rs 25,000 crore for Water Grid project. KTR also met Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and discussed about development works in the State.
