Hyderabad, April 22 : Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, on Wednesday, affirmed that heinous terrorist acts such as the attack in Pahalgam can never weaken the unity and resolve of the nation.

On the solemn occasion marking one year since the tragic incident, he paid heartfelt tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives, stating that their sacrifice remains an enduring and sacred debt owed by the nation.

The Chief Minister emphasised that such reprehensible conspiracies are destined to fail, as the people of the country stand steadfast -- united, vigilant, and resolute -- in confronting and defeating all forms of terrorism.

He also conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families, assuring them that the nation stands in solidarity with them in this hour of remembrance.

Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy also paid tributes to the victims of the Pahalgam attack. “Remembering the innocent lives we lost in the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack on this day last year. Their sacrifice will forever remain etched in our collective memory. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families who continue to endure this immense loss. As a nation, we stand united - in grief, in strength, and in our unwavering resolve against terrorism,” Kishan Reddy posted on ‘X’.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, also took to ‘X’ to pay his tributes. “One year ago, the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam shook the conscience of the nation. Innocent lives were lost, but their memory will never fade. My deepest condolences to the families who continue to live with this pain. The entire nation stands with them in grief and solidarity. India is united in its fight against terrorism. We will never bow to fear, and we will never be broken by violence. The cowardly agenda of terrorists will never succeed. Bharat stands firm and strong,” said the minister.
