10 injured in landslide in Vijayawada

Vijayawada, June 14: Ten persons were injured in landslide at Mogalrajpuram in Vijayawada on Sunday. The heavy rains over the past two days resulted in the landslide. Several boulders rolled down on the houses located near PB Siddhartha Degree College. Several houses were damaged in the incident. The residents rushed out of their houses after the incident. Police immediately swung into action and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital. The officials asked the people living in hill areas to be vigilant of landslides.
