Revanth accused of land grabbing
Hyderabad, June 13: TDP MLA Revanth Reddy, who was arrested in Cash for Votes scandal, has been accused of grabbing land at Gopanapally in Ranga Reddy district. In a press conference at Somajiguda Press Club here, the victim Kollam Peri Reddy alleged that Revanth Reddy occupied three plots in survey no 127 & 128 in Gopanapally. Peri Reddy said that he along with relatives Kolla Gurava Reddy and Aruna purchased the plots in 2012 and got them registered. The victims hail from Dachepally in Guntur district. Peri Reddy said that Revanth’s brother Konda Reddy threatened them with dire consequences if they did not sell their lands at throwaway prices. The said that no action was taken against the MLA and his followers despite several complaints to local police. The victims are planning to bring the issue to the notice of Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy. They appealed to the government to provide protection to them and restore their encroached land.
