Kadiam Srihari vacates Lok Sabha seat
Hyderabad, June 11: In an expected development, Telangana's Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiam Srihari resigned from his Lok Sabha seat and as required he kept his MLC seat here today. Couple of months back, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao invited Srihari to join his ministry. At that time, Srihari was a TRS MP. Now that he has been elected as the member of the legislative council in the state, he has to vacate one of the seats and as such he decided to resign from the Lok Sabha. In the next six months, by-elections will be held for the Lok Sabha seat vacated by Srihari.
