Report on Revanth's arrest submitted to EC

Hyderabad, June 9, 2015: Chief Electoral Officer of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Bhanwar Lal on Tuesday said that the arrest of TDP MLA Revanth Reddy on charges of trying to bribe a nominated member was brought to notice of Central Election Commission (CEC). Speaking to media at Secretariat here, Bhanwar Lal said that a detailed report submitted by ACB DG on the issue was submitted to CEC. He refused to divulge other details. Meanwhile, TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu and the party senior leaders have decided to attend the wedding engagement of Revanth Reddy's daughter on June 11. The party has also resolved to provide all necessary help to Revanth and his family.
