Chandrababu inaugurates Kadapa airport
Kadapa, June 7 : Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated Kadapa airport on Sunday. Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu, Ashoka Gajapathi Raju, Nirmala Sitharaman, Sujana Chowdary and others participated in the ceremony. Flight services to Bengaluru was also launched on the day.
The airport was constructed at a cost of Rs 42 crore. The runway is capable of operating ATR-72 aircraft and it will be upgraded to handle A320 type aircraft in future. Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu assured all the necessary help fort the development of airport. He said that government will consider the demand of naming the airport after famous saint composer Annamayya.
