Botsa joins YSRCP

Hyderabad, June 7 : Former president of Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Botsa Satyanarayana joined YSR Congress Party on Sunday. Accompanied by wife and former MP Jhansi, brothers Appala Naidu and Appala Narsaiah and DCCB chairman Tulasi, Botsa met YSRCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy at the party head office here and joined the party in his presence at 8:15 am. Jagan welcomed Botsa and his followers into the party by offering traditional 'Kanduva'. Speaking to the media Botsa said that he joined YSRCP to fight against the tyrannical policies of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Botsa said that he was not interested in political posts. He alleged that TDP government neglected development of North Andhra and added that YSRCP is the only alternative to TDP in the State. A large number of people joined the party along with Botsa.
