8 kg gold seized from aircraft toilet
Mumbai: Customs officials have seized 8 kg of gold which was hidden in the toilet of aircraft in Mumbai. On a tip-off, officials searched Mumbai-Muscat plane, seized gold gold bars worth Rs 2 crore and arrested a person. The accused was identified as Segu Naina and he had hidden the bars in two dustbins in the toilet. Officials said that accused is a courier and he is following the instructions of handler. The gold was to be retrieved during the domestic leg of the plane to Kolkata, they added. Officials suspect involvement of crew members in the incident.
