Nayani hints at including Chandrababu as accused in cash-for-vote scam case
Hyderabad, June 3, 2015: Accusing AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of directing the cash for vote scam that sent TDP MLA Revanth Reddy behind bars, Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Wednesday hinted that Chandrababu would be made accused in the case. Addressing a press conference here, he said Revanth Reddy was caught red handed while trying to bribe nominated MLA Stephenson but the main conspirator in the scam is Chandrababu. "Chandrababu also spoke to our nominated MLA and we have the recorded evidence for that. Revanth Reddy would never indulge in such activity on his own.He had acted with the full knowledge and under the direction of Chandrababu only, " Nayani said, adding that law will take its own course in the case. Already all political parties are demanding the inclusion of Chandrababu as the accused number one in the case as Revanth had acted at his behest, Nayani said and added. "Chandrababu sent his MLAs to Revanth with a request not to reveal his name during interrogation." Nayani observed that revolutionary changes are going to take place in politics in the near future. "You will see developments that will bring new respect to politics."
