TDP now a national party

Hyderabad, May 30: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has transformed into a national party after being a regional party for over three decades. On the last day of the just concluded Mahanadu, the party passed a resolution declaring itself to be a national party with immediate effect. Later, Telugu Desam Party leaders unanimously elected Andhra Pradesh chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as the president of the Central Committee of the national party.
