Mahesh Babu’s AMB Cinemas Launches South India’s First Dolby Vision Theatre in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: South India’s cinema infrastructure received a significant technological upgrade today as AMB Cinemas, partnered by Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu, launched the region's first Dolby Vision theatre in Bengaluru. The state-of-the-art multiplex opened its doors to the public on Friday, January 16, setting a new benchmark for cinematic viewing experiences in the southern states.

The newly inaugurated facility is designed with high-end specifications, headlined by a massive 65-foot curved screen with a seating capacity of 586. To ensure superior visual and audio quality, the theatre employs dual projection 4K technology and a 64-channel object-based Dolby Atmos sound system. Beyond the main screen, the multiplex houses five Dolby Atmos screens, four Dolby 7.1 screens, and two flat screens. The seating arrangement follows a curved stadium style, ensuring an optimal viewing angle from every seat.

The theatre commenced operations with the screening of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu.’ Notably, the film was specifically graded using Dolby Vision technology to maximize the potential of the new screen.

Mahesh Babu had recently taken to social media to announce the expansion of the AMB brand into the Karnataka capital. With this launch, AMB Cinemas aims to redefine the movie-going experience by integrating world-class projection and sound technologies for audiences in Bengaluru.
