Jagan to undertake Deeksha on June 3,4
Hyderabad, May 21, 2015: The two–day deeksha of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would be held on June 3 and 4 between Vijayawada and Guntur and will highlight the failures of the one year term of TDP government which failed in implementing the core poll promises besides forceful land acquisition for the capital city.
“The leader of Opposition will sit on a two-day deeksha in protest against the TDP’s failure in implementing the loan waiver to farmers and DWACRA women, deceiving the youth by not providing employment nor giving the stipend and the acquisition of land by force from the farmers,” party spokesperson K Parthasarathi told reporters here.
The venue of the deeksha will be announced soon and YS Jagan Mohan
Reddy will voice the concerns of all affected sections during the two day deeksha.
Making a mockery of loan waiver, the State has released Rs 6,650 crores while dues stood at Rs 87,000 crores on the day of Chandababu Naidu’s swearing in. During his one year term, not a single promise was fulfilled and the DWACRA women groups got a raw deal while the youth are disappointed as they did not get the promised jobs or the stipend.
The state has acquired 33,000 acres of land from farmers using force and is all set to take away another 12,000 acres of land depriving the farmers and farm hands of their livelihood.
While the one year term of TDP is full of failures on all fronts, it is going ahead with the Vijaya Yatra which has no relevance.
The Leader of Opposition will highlight all the failures of the TDP government during its one year in office during his deeksha, he said.
