Girls maintain upper hand over boys in tenth class results
Visakha, May 20, 2015: Girls maintained an upper hand over boys in the tenth class examination results released here today by the Education Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao. While 91.71 per cent of the girls passed the examination, 91.15 per cent of the boys made it through the examination. The Minister said a total of 644,961 candidates appeared for the examination. Of them, 38, 386 students took the examination privately. The total pass percentage stood at 91.42, he revealed , adding that 22,483 candidates out of a total of 38, 386 students who appeared privately passed the examination. The Minister said while Kadapa district topped the percentage with 98.54 , Chittor stood in the last with 71.29.
