Polavaram responsibility is on Centre's shoulders : Babu

Kakinada, May 15, 2015: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who had repeatedly said earlier that Polavaram project would be completed in the next three to four years, has asserted that it is the responsibility of the Centre to complete the project. Speaking at a Neeru-Chettu programme here this evening , he said the AP Government would bring pressure on the Centre to ensure speedy completion of the project. Chandrababu promised to complete the Pushkara lift irrigation scheme with in the next one year and supply irrigation water to EG district. "It will irrigate one lakh seventy thousand acres additionally in the district," Chandrababu observed. He came to Kakinada winding up his tour of the WG district where he inspected the Pattiseema project works.
