Vangaveeti Ranga's Daughter Asha Kiran Enters Public Life
Vijayawada: Vangaveeti Asha Kiran, daughter of the late leader Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga, announced on Sunday that she is stepping into public life with a commitment to serving the poor and weaker sections of society.
After paying floral tributes to her father's statue in Vijayawada, Asha Kiran addressed the media, clarifying her intentions. "From now on, I will be in the public sphere," she stated. However, she noted that she has no immediate plans for a political career. "A decision on my political debut will be made in the future only after discussions with the elders of the Radha-Ranga Mitra Mandali and taking their advice."
Asha Kiran emphasized that she aims to follow her father's legacy of supporting all communities, stating he was not confined to any single caste or religion.
She also addressed her relationship with her brother, Vangaveeti Radhakrishna, to dispel any speculation of a rift. "There are no differences between my brother and me. We share the same blood. Though our paths may be different, our goal is the same. His support will always be with me," she asserted.
Asha Kiran added that she would focus on strengthening the Radha-Ranga Mitra Mandali and would be accessible to her father's followers across both Telugu states.
