Stage Set for Visakha CII Partnership Summit on November 14 and 15
Visakhapatnam is gearing up to host the 30th CII Partnership Summit 2025 on November 14 and 15, jointly organised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is personally supervising the arrangements, aiming to project Andhra Pradesh as a premier global investment destination.

The summit, themed “Partners in Progress – India’s Roadmap to Viksit Bharat 2047,” will take place at the Andhra University Engineering College grounds. Over 100 international delegates are expected to attend, with multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to be signed across sectors such as green energy, information technology, electronics, automobiles, space, defence, and tourism.

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the event, while Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal will open the Andhra Pradesh Pavilion. Prominent business leaders including Yusuff Ali, Baba Kalyani, and Karan Adani will also participate.

Chief Minister Naidu will stay in Visakhapatnam for four days, holding meetings with global and domestic industry leaders from countries including Taiwan, Italy, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Discussions will cover sustainable growth, artificial intelligence, and industrial collaboration.

During the summit, Andhra Pradesh and Singapore are expected to sign an agreement to launch direct flights between Singapore and Vijayawada. The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone for a new Lulu Mall in Visakhapatnam and inaugurate projects by Raymond, Sri City, Indosole, and Google.

The state government estimates the summit could attract investments worth up to ₹10 lakh crore, generating large-scale employment opportunities. To promote the event globally, Mr. Naidu conducted investment roadshows in Singapore, the UAE, and the UK, while IT Minister Nara Lokesh and other ministers engaged with industry representatives both in India and abroad.

Schedule of Events

November 13, Thursday:
The Chief Minister will participate in the “Partners in Progress – India–Europe Cooperation for Sustainable Growth” roundtable at Novotel, Visakhapatnam, focusing on green innovation and European investments.


In the afternoon, he will hold meetings with delegations from Taiwan, Italy, Sweden, and the Netherlands, and meet representatives from SPP Pumps Ltd, ReNew Power, Balaji Action Buildwell, Murugappa Group, Joule Group, and Hero Future Engineers.


In the evening, he will attend the Vizag Economic Region event, followed by a special session of the CII National Council.


November 14, Friday:
Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the 30th CII Partnership Summit, while Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal will inaugurate the Andhra Pradesh Pavilion. Following the inaugural session, a discussion on “Technology, Trust, and Trade” will be held.


In the afternoon, Chief Minister Naidu will address the “AI for Viksit Bharat” session, highlighting how artificial intelligence can drive Andhra Pradesh’s economic growth.


Later, the state government will sign an agreement with Singapore representatives to launch direct flight services between Singapore and Vijayawada.


In the evening, the Chief Minister will participate in the “Reimagining Public Finance Summit” organised by the State Finance Department, meet the Vice Chairman of the Sanjiv Goenka Group, and lay the foundation stone for a new Lulu Mall in Visakhapatnam.
A gala dinner will be hosted later that night for company representatives, officials, and delegates.


November 15, Saturday:
The Chief Minister will begin the day with an interaction with Bloomberg Media, followed by laying foundation stones for projects by Raymond, Sri City, and Indosole.


He will meet delegations from Bahrain, New Zealand, Canada, and Japan.


In the afternoon, he will inaugurate the Centre for Frontier Technologies of the World Economic Forum and lay the foundation stone for a Google project.


The day will conclude with MoU exchange ceremonies, followed by a media conference where the Chief Minister will summarise the outcomes of the summit.
