KCR asks TRS cadres to counter AP arguments powerfully over bifurcation losses
Nagarjuna Sagar, May 3, 2015: Telangana Chief Minister and TRS president K.Chandrasekhara Rao has called upon its cadre to counter the propaganda of Andhra Pradesh Government that AP suffered heavy financial losses while the state of Telangana had gained much through bifurcation. Addressing the 3-day orientation camp where ministers, MLAs, MLCs and senior leaders had attended to listen to specialists and experts on various issues here, KCR said that TRS leaders should try their best at the national level to counter the AP claims which he described as false. During the united AP regimes, funds were liberally directed to developmental works in Andhra Pradesh and after bifurcation, Telangana became surplus revenue state as the diversion had stopped. "As the funds diversion has stopped and expenditure came down there ,the AP leadership is now falsely describing this as a loss generated through bifurcation. This should be strongly rebutted and countered effectively," KCR had called upon the party cadres. Well known economist Ch.Hanumantha Rao and former Chief Election Commissioner J.M.Lyngdoh were among those who addressed the party cadres. Asking the Ministers , MLAs, MLCs and others to keep on learing things, KCR asked them to shed ego and learn things. "Life is short. We should try to learn things as long as we live so we can live better and serve people better, " KCR said in a philosophical tone and added : "In some countries, prime ministers and ministers take up teaching professions after giving up posts. It is not that we should not do anything after working as ministers and MLAs."
