TS employees want Andhra officers out of plum posts, serve ultimatum on Govt

Hyderabad, May 3, 2015: Telangana employees have served an ultimatum to the KCR Government that they would not work under the officers of Andhra origin after June 2 if the Andhra origin employees working in various departments are not transferred to AP before that date. The employees complained to Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma that the Kamalnathan committee has been allotting AP origin employees to Telangana and Telangana origin employees to AP. In addition to the above, the TS employees told Rajiv Sharma that AP employees are being given key posts in TS departments. The employees feel that injustice is being done to them as KCR government has turned a blind eye to Andhra officers getting plum postings in major revenue earning departments like Commercial taxes, revenue, transport and excise. "The entire Telangana agitation was centered on water , funds and jobs. What is the purpose of getting separate Telangana state if the TS employees are forced to work under the Andhra origin officers even in TS government?" the employees' leaders have asked.
