HC rules division of judiciary only after constructing building in AP

Hyderabad, May 1: The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad today rejected the plea to bifurcate the HC as of now. The court further ruled the division will take place only after a building is constructed for a High Court in Andhra Pradesh. It also said that the central government should release funds for the construction of the HC in Andhra Pradesh. It also ruled out the possibilities of building a separate structure for the HC in Telangana. At the same time, it said the present premises would eventually belong to Telangana state.

Capital problems

In an unrelated development, the HC ruled that AP government should not take away lands belonging to those farmers who are unwilling to part with their lands for the construction of the capital city. In this connection HC issued interim orders.
