Land pooling agreements being inked at rocket speed

Hyderabad, April 23 ,2015: AP Government has fixed a deadline of May 15 for completing land pooling for the first phase construction of AP Capital city. The AP Cabinet , which discussed the land pooling at its meeting on Wednesday, has instructed officials to complete agreements with farmers who have already given consent letters and make annual payments to them before the deadline. The CRDA machinery is taking steps to speed up the process of completing agreements with farmers and making payments to farmers so that the process of land pooling will be over before the arrival of designs and plans for the construction of the capital city from Singapore. Already agreements with farmers have been completed over 8000 acres while agreements are being made with farmers over two to three thousand acres daily from today. The Government is also taking steps to complete loan waiver to all farmers in the capital region area to keep the farmers' enthusiasm alive.
