Chandrababu: Want to live permanently in Telugu hearts

Anantapuram, April 20, 2015: AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu assured Anantapuram district people on Monday that he would bring drinking and irrigation water to the district through Pattiseema Project. "Polavaram project will take nearly four years to complete. Before that, we will complete the Pattiseema project and fetch you water through it," he told people during his address to the TDP activists at Gollapally near here. Amid 'long live Chandrababu' slogans, the CM cut his birth day cake earlier on the eve of his turning 65. Chandrababu heaped praise that the people of Anantapuram district had honoured TDP by voting it to power in the last elections."You had honoured TDP in the last elections. I will turn the district into drought-free district," he promised them. He said that Patti seema project will supply water to Ananta district till the completion of Polavaram project and after the Polavaram project is completed, Pattiseema Lift Irrigation Project will supply water to the other areas where water requirement is there. Asserting that he wants to live permanently in the hearts of Telugu people, Chandrababu said he would do his best to solve the problems of people. He asked farmers not to drill bores in areas of lesser ground water levels. "It will cause you financial suffering."
