Hyd police search for SIMI operatives in old city
Hyderabad, April 9: On a tip off that SIMI operatives has been spotted here, Hyderabad police have launched a 'cordon Search Operation' in Bhavani Nagar of the Old City in Hyderabad. About 500 policemen have today descended and cordoned off Bhavani Nagar and began search operations. Police have detained 20 persons for questioning as they failed to produce any identity proves. They also seized seven autorickshaws and 18 motorbikes that did not have proper documentation. It may be recalled that police have been taking up a 'cordon Search Operation' in the Old City for quite some time.
