Modi Never Bows to Anyone: Pawan Kalyan
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not concern himself with electoral calculations, but instead works with the sole aim of holistic national development. Drawing a symbolic parallel, Pawan Kalyan said, “Just as the Himalayas never bow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi too never bows to anyone.” He made these remarks during a meeting in Delhi with Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from states governed by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Pawan Kalyan said that the Prime Minister’s commitment to the country’s progress is clearly reflected in the “PM-Jan Man” programme. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi never thinks about votes. His focus is on fulfilling his duty towards national development. Through this Central Government-funded initiative, we are now able to provide road connectivity to remote habitations of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs),” he explained.
Elaborating on the implementation of the “PM-Jan Man” scheme in Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan stated, “With ₹555.61 crore allocated by the Central Government, we are constructing 612.72 kilometers of roads. All these roads connect PVTG habitations. As a result, road access is being provided to 239 PVTG habitations spread across seven districts. This will benefit around 50,000 tribal residents by improving transport facilities.” He added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is determined to deliver the fruits of development to everyone, in all regions, regardless of electoral outcomes. He emphasized that this spirit is what drives NDA-ruled states forward.
Pawan Kalyan also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership during critical situations like “Operation Sindoor,” stating, “Even in complex situations, the Prime Minister considers not only public safety but also the people’s future. It is to his credit that India’s strength and capabilities have been demonstrated to the world.”
He further underscored the necessity of caste-based census, saying, “It is crucial to understand the living conditions, occupations, and socio-economic status of various castes in the country. This will help policymakers take informed decisions on necessary welfare schemes and developmental actions to improve their livelihoods.”
Additionally, Pawan Kalyan revealed that the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, has approved Scheduled Caste categorization. This decision was based on a report prepared after a three-month statewide study by a one-member commission led by retired IAS officer Rajeev Ranjan Mishra.
